Claim your personal confidence and power THROUGH your business

What’s preventing you from achieving the results you want in your business?

When we think about the challenges of running a business, we often focus on strategy: marketing plans, visibility efforts, pricing, and sales techniques. And while these are important, there’s a deeper, often overlooked layer at play: the inner work required to truly grow as a business owner. This is what my program, Building the Business Owner, is all about. It’s not just about what you do in your business - it’s about how you think, feel and approach your business to determine HOW you do what you do. And today, I want to share an unexpected path this work has taken me down - one that profoundly shifted how I understand the barriers we face as women in business: understanding the witch wound.

The Build the Business Owner programme was born out of my realisation that prioritising personal, leadership, and mindset development is the key to aligned and sustainable growth. It’s designed to help you develop the confidence, self-trust, and decision-making skills that underpin effective action. Whether it’s marketing, visibility, or sales, these skills allow you to approach your business with courage and consistency - and to grow it in a way that feels good and right to you.

But as I’ve walked this path, I’ve discovered something deeper. Like many of you, I’ve spent years navigating the structured, action-oriented systems of traditional education and employment. This is the structure within which many of us were raised in - a linear, masculine framework that emphasises DOING over FEELING, logic over intuition. And while there’s definitely value in these systems, they’re only one half of the story. They often ignore what we can feel but can’t see: the wisdom of intuition, the rhythms of nature, and the balance offered by cyclical, feminine energies.

Over time, I’ve learned to embrace this balance, blending intuition and spirituality into the logical structures I know so well. And as part of this learning, I came across the concept of the witch wound - a discovery that brought so much clarity to the doubts, fears, and limiting beliefs that had been holding me back in my business for ages.

If you’re not familiar, the witch wound is the idea that women carry, on a collective level, the fear of persecution, punishment, and death that those (predominantly women) branded as witches endured during the centuries-long burning times. They were often midwives, healers, or elders - women with skills, wisdom, or influence who were seen as threats to the patriarchal structures rising at the time. To protect themselves, women hid their talents, played small, and sought safety in invisibility.

This fear didn’t vanish with the end of the witch trials. It lingered, passed down through generations, not only as external beliefs and behaviours but as internal, soul-level experiences. Even without conscious knowledge of this history, many of us feel its effects. It shows up as self-doubt, the fear that what we offer isn’t valuable enough. It shows up as hesitancy to be visible, to share our heartfelt messages, or to promote ourselves. It shows up as a fear of taking up space, of owning our worth and leadership.

Think about how this might be playing out in your business:

  • Do you find yourself hesitating to speak boldly, worried about how you’ll be received?

  • Do you struggle with pricing your services, questioning whether they’re truly worth it?

  • Do you hold back from fully showing up, afraid of judgment or criticism?

These aren’t just personal hurdles, they’re part of this collective wound. But they’re wounds we have the power to heal.

So, what has this got to do with Build the Business Owner, the programme?

As well as being an Entrepreneur Training programme to facilitate your business growth and success, I've come to realise that it can be too a mechanism for healing your witch wound. Through the work of developing your leadership, self-trust, and clarity, you begin to dismantle the fears and doubts that hold you back. You step into your power as a business owner, reclaiming the space and visibility that once felt dangerous. You learn to value your work, trust your intuition, and take action with confidence.

And when you do this, you benefit the collective too.

When you show up confidently, you inspire others to do the same. When you reclaim your power, you shift the narrative for future generations. And when you grow your business in a way that aligns with your values, you contribute to a wider collective healing, undoing the damage caused by centuries of silencing and suppression.

For me, this work is ongoing. I’m still learning, still growing, still uncovering layers of this wound and healing them as I go. And this work has changed how I feel about showing up, sharing my voice, and leading with authenticity. That’s why it's SO important to me to share Build the Business Owner with you, because I'm excited about what’s possible for you, for all of us, when you combine practical business skills with the inner work of healing and growth.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you. What parts of this story feel familiar? Where do you see the witch wound showing up in your life or business? Let’s start a conversation about how we can support each other in reclaiming our power.

And if you’re ready to take the next step in your business and personal growth, the Build the Business Owner Entrepreneur Training programme is here for you.
