Think and act like a Leader: Reclaim your time, take confident action and grow your heart-led, impactful business
This short course is for you if you’re a solopreneur who feels like you need to spend more time in your business to gain traction and see a return for all your hard work, but you just can’t squeeze another minute out of your already packed and overwhelming day.
You’ve tried the tips and hacks - the pomodoro technique, time batching, calendar blocking and buying a fancy planner to name just a few, but nothing’s helped in a lasting way and you feel there must be an alternative.
Yes, there is, because here’s the thing:
You don’t have a “time management” problem. Not in the way it’s usually discussed, anyway.
This course is designed to help you manage your time so that you can take confident action to grow your business, but we don’t rely on tips and hacks to do so.
Instead we change your approach to your business so that you can truly manage your time effectively.
Do you want to:
=> Do work that you love, that allows you to use your talents, express your creativity and share your message with the world?
=> Experience autonomy over your own schedule, flexibility in your day and an overall feeling of freedom in your life that allows you to prioritise time with your family, travel, time for yourself, other commitments or maybe even hobbies?
=> Have a positive impact on your own life, the lives of those around you and the wider world?
I thought so, because that’s what I want too. But I also know there’s A LOT involved in making that happen.
If, at the moment, you feel:
Overworked, like there aren’t enough hours in the day and that
You just can’t see how you’re going to make your goals, intentions and dreams a reality
Perhaps you feel stuck, uncertain what action to take next for the best, because there are so many options to grow a business and there’s no shortage of advice in the online space on how to do so
Or maybe you’re trying to do #allthethings and you feel squashed flat under the increasing weight of your to do list
I get it, because I’ve experienced all those demoralising feelings and I know how frustrating and tiring it can be.
And I know you feel that if you can just:
Be more organised
Manage your time better so that you’re more productive
Stay focused and not get distracted by your kids, your emails, the washing piling up in the corner or your cat climbing the curtains for attention (What? That’s never happened to you? No, me neither. *coughs*)
That you’d have a much better chance of growing your business, achieving your goals and living the life you want.
I started my first business in the online space in 2016 and, after experiencing a number of years feeling time poor, overwhelmed, frustrated and confused, I now approach business differently, looking at everything through a leadership lens, so that I can truly manage my time effectively and no longer feel overwhelmed or overworked daily.
Instead I plan my work around my other commitments and, even more importantly, find I have some precious headspace, so not only can I take care of my life and my family, I get to enjoy the time spent outside my business too.
My philosophy is that you need to Build the Business OWNER to Build the Business, so that’s what we’re going to do to help you:
=>Make the most of the time you have to spend in your business
=>Be productive and
=>Take decisive action that moves you towards your heart-led, impactful goals (such as getting in front of the right people and bringing in more clients to serve - the things we all want, right?)
We’re going to improve your time management skills through focusing on your entrepreneurial leadership development, which is the umbrella term I use for personal development for solopreneurs, taking a leadership approach to business and cultivating, managing and maintaining an entrepreneurial mindset.
Together we’ll look at the importance of:
Self-leadership in managing your time
Reframing your mindset around the role you play in, and for, your business
Clarity, ownership and decision making for time management
A “CEO” approach to time management and
Long term solutions to short term problems where we cover common time management problems and how to solve them
And you’ll receive trackers and worksheets to guide you through how to make this work for you in your own business.
By the end of this course you’ll be able to:
Think and act like a leader so that you can intentionally and proficiently make the best use of your time in your business
Ditch the indecision that keeps you going round in circles, slowing or stalling your business progress and creating internal conflict and overwhelm
Prioritise the actions that will grow your business and stick to them
Reclaim the time that is currently leaking in your life and business through marrying practical techniques (including the tips or hacks you’ve maybe tried before) with an entrepreneurial leadership mindset
Reframe time management “problems” and identify how to solve them from a different perspective
Embrace a new “CEO” approach to time management in your business so that you can achieve your day-to-day and big picture goals
